But when Cushing House receives a series of increasingly sinister boxes wrapped in black bombazine, a fabric associated with death and mourning, it threatens to destroy their newfound community. As the packages turn ever more horrifying and the attacks hit ever closer to home, Holmes fights her growing affection for everyone involved in the case, especially Siân. She knows firsthand the risks of involving her heart in matters of the mind.
While she and Siân strive to uncover not just who is terrorizing the women of Cushing House, but why, an even larger question looms: is love really a crack in a high-powered lens, or is it the only thing that can bring Holmes’ work, and her life, finally into focus?

When you order an autographed print book, the order will come directly to me. I will follow up with an email asking you for a name to personalize the book with. If I don't receive a response from you within 2 days, I'll autograph the book without personalizing it.

EBooks: Instant Download
After you complete your purchase of an ebook, you will receive a link to download your book from BookFunnel. They do a great job of helping you sideload your book onto your ereader or app, and they have excellent customer service.
Which format should I choose?
- If you read on a current Kindle device or with the Kindle app, you should choose the Kindle EPUB option.
- If you read on an older or legacy Kindle device, you may need to use the Legacy MOBI option.
- If you read on any other devices or apps, you should choose the Generic EPUB format.
